This update fixes a backwards compatibility bug between CSF and older versions of Webmin such as v2.111.

Fix Webmin Backwards Compatibility

We have corrected a minor interface bug which caused issues with older version of Webmin dating back to v2.111, and the Authentic theme v21.10.

Installations of CSF on older versions of Webmin would exhibit the following symptoms:

  • Webmin header would not show the buttons:

    • Module Config
    • Help

  • Webmin footer would attempt to load custom footer for the generic installation.

  • Installation marked as generic installation for all modules of CSF.
